We are excited that you are working with youth and want to support your efforts by training your staff and volunteers to maximize your impact. It is critically important that everyone working with the youth has the necessary skills to avoid harm and bring about positive change. Research shows that trained mentors are statistically more effective than untrained mentors1.

IYDE wants to increase your capacity to effectively engage youth in two ways. First, by training your initial team of adult staff and volunteers as skilled mentors. Once the training is complete, we mentor the mentors through their first year of mentoring. Second, by training a mentor trainer who will be able to train and support future mentors. The mentor trainer receives additional training and observation on how to be an effective trainer.

If your organization is ready to take their youth work to the next level, and has at least 7 people to be trained, click below to apply for the program and we will reach out to schedule a call with you.
